Finance -Strategy & Leadership Programme
Type: Case Study
Challenge
A new Managing Director into the business has inherited a Senior Leadership team that was working in silos. They needed to come together to define a strategic plan to deliver the business vision. The MD was not new to the industry, so was experienced and capable of defining a plan in isolation, but he wanted a more collaborative approach.
Actions
We ran our Ignite 321 programme, which involves 3 days, 2 expert consultants and the output is 1 strategic plan. The first 2 days are designed to be interactive and collaborative. We defined the team’s current position, and agreed where they needed to be. With our facilitation and challenge, the key delivery focuses were agreed. We took the workshop content and crafted it into a comprehensive strategic plan, with operational tactics, priorities, owners and agreed success factors. The 3rd day is a playback and final ratification of the plan.
Outcome
The client had a comprehensive strategic plan that they were able to deliver successfully with their internal resource. A check in 3 months later proved the plan was working, and new starters into the business were able to quickly understand their role within the deliverables. Other clients have taken advantage of Akeno resource to help with delivery, but in this example, they had sufficient resource to manage without any further assistance.
