Simon Knocker

Simon Knocker

Simon’s career started in 1990 when he was commissioned into the Army, coming in the top 10 of all graduate entrants at Sandhurst. Since leaving the forces, Simon has worked directly for Societe Generale, The Papworth Trust, Audi UK, Volkswagen UK, Jaguar Land Rover Global, Volvo Cars UK, and was one of the founders and Managing Director of a web-based aviation company; the Uber of the skies!

Simon is a pioneer in the world of programmes and change management. His approach to workshops and stakeholder management is energising and engaging. His innovative ideas are endless, and he always manages to get the best from the programme team in order to drive success for the client.

Simon loves adventurous activity; he is a keen sailor, skier, and wakeboarder, and enjoys nothing better than an adrenalin fuelled day out with his family!

I have worked with Simon on a large, complex business change programme over the past 18 months. He has worked across a number of programme disciplines including managing the delivery of complex legal and commercial agreements with strategic partners as well as working with the senior management team to facilitate an end-to-end strategic review of the programme. Simon's ability to take a high-level brief, develop a process and lead and facilitate a team to the desired outcome, often within challenging timescales, is second to none and I would have no hesitation in using his skills again or indeed recommending him to others.

— Duncan Potter, Business Project Manager, VWG

I have worked with Simon on a number of work streams including legal, commercial, change management and planning. Simon also facilitated a number of workshops where his enthusiastic, engaging and probing style always ensured that all of the relevant information and ideas were teased out of the attendee’s. Simon is very well organized, professional and reliable in delivery.
