Jonathan Haddock
Jonathan has over 25 years of experience working in IT, specialising in security for the past ten years. He holds the prestigious ISC2 CISSP certification, is a Chartered IT Professional, and has an MSc in Professional Computing focusing on security. With experience in the private, public, and charity sectors, Jonathan has a keen understanding of the security and IT challenges that organisations face.
Jonathan has a broad understanding of the IT landscape, including on-prem and cloud-based environments. From a security perspective, he's written policies (including for ISO27001), led security improvement programmes, and helped organisations increase their security while causing as little disruption as possible. Jonathan has also led security training and incident response simulations to help organisations be better equipped to deal with problems.
As a developer (PHP, Android SDK, Java, and various scripting languages), Jonathan is comfortable discussing security requirements at all stages of the software development lifecycle. In the past he has also worked on network infrastructure, including switches (HP, Cisco) and firewalls (Fortinet, WatchGuard).
With a passion for learning, Jonathan self-taught his MSc. He’s also trained in vulnerability assessment, incident management, and penetration testing.
