Kerry is a pioneer who welcomes a challenge. Adept at understanding and translating complex and technical matters, as well as presenting to Senior Leaders and Directors, it's the flexibility of Kerry's skills that are so welcomed by Clients.
Outside of work, Kerry loves adventurous activities; she has done a cliff dive in Jamaica, a sky dive over the British countryside, and enjoys water sports such as jet skiing, water skiing and paddle boarding.
Simon is the owner of thebigteam limited. He lives near Guildford in the UK with his wife Laura and their 3 children.
In 1990, he was commissioned into the Army, coming in the top 10 of all graduate entrants at Sandhurst. Since leaving the forces, Simon has worked directly for Societe Generale, The Papworth Trust, Audi UK, Volkswagen UK, Jaguar Land Rover Global, and was one of the founders and the Managing Director of a web-based aviation company.
In 2002, he became a freelance Project Manager & Management Consultant establishing ‘it-connects’ and rebranded it to ‘thebigteam’ in 2017.
Simon loves adventurous activity; he is a keen sailor, skier and wakeboarder, and enjoys nothing better than a day out on the water with his family.
Stuart is a highly effective and profit focused Programme and Project Leader. He has extensive experience working with organisations supporting their complex and risky business change programmes, including new operation set up / changes to existing operations, process review, design and improvement, organisational change, bid and tender management and systems implementation.
He set up Stonac in 2000 with wife Fiona and has delivered over 100 projects in that time. He has strong industry experience in automotive, service, logistics, retail and the public sector. He works closely with other like-minded business consultants.
When not working, Stuart can be found on the golf course or following Northampton Saints and Formula 1 with Fiona. They now have more time to do all of that now their sons have flown the nest.
Steve is the director at Emva. He lives in Northamptonshire with his wife, their two children and their Labrador.
Steve started his career as a professional cricketer before joining the embryonic digital team at Argos just as they were about to launch their first transactional website. This experience gave Steve a fantastic grounding in e-commerce and direct sales disciplines and since then, he’s used those skills in the retail, telecommunications and automotive industries. Steve also has a wide range of experience in advertising, customer management and strategy development, and he used this experience to help deliver many strategic change programmes for Volkswagen Group UK over the last ten years.
In February 2020 Steve became a freelance business transformation consultant, setting up Emva to use this experience to help organisations across multiple sectors deliver lasting and effective change.
Aside from his family, Steve’s other love is sport - everything from cricket and football, to golf, NFL and boxing.
CMI Synergy Ltd
Pragmatic and delivery focussed, Darren set up CMI Synergy in 2002 following a successful career in the petrochemical industry and several years in management consulting.
Over his career he has gained a wide range of project management and business consulting experience across diverse industry sectors.
His extensive track record encompasses delivery from complex construction projects to business change and transformation across public and private sector clients.
When not working, Darren can be found undertaking a range of coastal based pursuits on land and the sea with his wife, Rachel and their two boys.
Fiona is a Director of Stonac. She is a naturally approachable, polished and driven Senior Manager, expert at controlling the administration, training and development of various projects and programmes. She possesses outstanding interpersonal, negotiation skills and excels in compliant environments requiring a high level of attention to detail. She consistently achieves project goals by utilising exceptional analytical skills, administration prowess and first-class customer service.
Outside of work Fiona promotes, Chairs and directs a large variety of local and national committees, groups, foundations and advisory boards, working to promote knowledge and development of genetic disorders, blindness, cancer support and health research. For fun she is a keen walker, an avid F1 fan, a season ticket holder for Northampton Saints and enjoys travelling.
Katie is the General Manager at Freshleaf, where she takes care of customers; and tries to stay out of the way to enable the technical team to do what they do best.
Freshleaf live and breathe all things web development, and they truly love what they do. They use their technical expertise and creativity to ensure tech companies get more from their websites. They understand the marketing challenges of technical propositions, and are adept at ensuring the key messages are understood in a language that is suitable to the audience. They provide technical excellence to the Akeno team, and are even the creators of this website!
