Kerry Thompson launched Akeno following 15 years in the private and public sectors, operating in Project Management, Business Analysis and Change Management roles. She has a proven track record delivering change programmes including new IT solutions and system upgrades, as well as the management of process/cultural change, and digital omni-channel programmes. She has also provided business intelligence solutions, and delivered key communication and business improvement strategies. Kerry has the courage and expertise to challenge and analyse in a constructive and supportive manner that gets the best out of everyone involved.
Vitally, Kerry leads multi-disciplined teams, takes ownership of project lifecycles (conception to completion), identifies the ‘Asis’ and ‘Tobe’ and implements measurable efficiencies, change or improvement processes. Kerry promotes a unique process that includes vision through to implementation and embedding change into businesses. Furthermore, she has been significantly involved in varied high profile programmes that have required the implementation of high performance solutions within extremely challenging timeframes.
A notable project for the Volkswagen Group was recently completed (2017). Kerry was instrumental in the Launch of the SEAT Lakeside and Westfield White City Stores, which were a first of its kind, providing an innovative retail experience for the consumer (omni-channel marketing – digital and retail). Kerry took ownership of transforming processes to enhance the customer experience and to empower / engage with the customer through the powerful digital medium, whilst also project managing the Westfield Store build. This project was successfully completed within a challenging timeframe and to budget.
